Perception Psychology specialises in child and adolescent psychology. We accept referrals from GP's, other Health Professionals, Schools, and Parents.

Perception Psychology provides evidence-based psychological supports to adults expereincing issues related to their mental health or wellbeing.
This may include difficulties such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, significant mental health conditions, addiction disorders, and/or personality disorders.
Individual's may also seek support for difficulties in relationships (including parenting), difficulties in work roles, trauma expereinces, low self-esteem/self-worth, loss and grief, and/or health concerns.
Individuals seeking psychological support can be referred by GP's, other Health Professionals, Workplaces, and/or Self-Referral.
Our Principal Psychologist, Kat Dunn, is currently completing the Accreditation Process to receive credentialing with the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC).
Kat has a special interest in Eating Disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge-Eating Disorder, and Avoidant-Restricitve Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
Kat has completed specific training in Family-Based Treatment for Anorexia (FBT), the recommended evidence-based treatment for Anorexia in Children and Adolescents.
Individuals struggling with Eating Disorders can be referred by GP's, other Health Professionals, Schools, and/or Parents/Self-Referral.
Perception Psychology runs a number of small group therapy programs for children and adolescents. Groups programs are generally organised to run throughout each school term.
